The Kamloops NorthPaws won the first game in franchise history in walk-off fashion courtesy of a trio of hometown players.
Tyrelle Chadwick got the nod as the first starter in franchise history, allowing four runs in 2.1 innings of work.
He also collected the first hit in franchise history, doubling as the designated hitter for the game. He went 2-for-3 at the dish with 2 RBI.
Fellow Kamloopsian Nolan Austin had a strong West Coast League debut. He was 3-for-4 at the plate and picked up the win after going to the mound in the eighth inning.
Jared Sucro, the third local product in the lineup, walked it off in the bottom of the ninth inning collecting his first WCL RBI in winning fashion.
