Grand Canyon Sophomore Brings Athleticism to NorthPaws Outfield
The Kamloops NorthPaws have added Arizonian Ty Siffermann to their inaugural outfield.
“He’s a tremendous athlete. He can absolutely fly and he’s extremely strong,” Armstrong said. “He made plays last summer that, if there was a camera there, it would’ve made the Top 10 on SportsCentre.”
“Just wait until you see this guy go catch a ball in centre field.”
NorthPaws Add Starr to Coaching Staff
The Kamloops NorthPaws have added a Starr to its all-Canadian coaching staff.
Sammie Starr, currently an assistant coach with the University of British Columbia (UBC) Thunderbirds, joins the NorthPaws as an assistant coach for their inaugural season.
The former infielder from Toronto played four seasons for the Thunderbirds before being drafted in the 34th round by the Baltimore Orioles in 2007.
