2021 All-WCL Teams Unveiled
Wednesday morning, the 2021 All-West Coast League teams were announced by West Coast League Commissioner Rob Neyer.
“It’s my tremendous pleasure every year,” said Neyer, “to announce the WCL’s All-League teams. Considering the WCL’s position as the premier summer collegiate baseball league in the entire western half of the continent, saying our teams represent ‘the best of the west’ is hardly an exaggeration.”
Meet Our Beloved Canine: Homer
The NorthPaws mascot has a name: Homer.
We want to thank all the fans for helping us choose a name. We received over 60 name ideas and 150 total submissions.
It is a very fitting moniker for a baseball dog mascot based on the following definitions:
A home run, something we expect to see many of when the West Coast League comes to Norbrock Stadium.
Someone who shows blind loyalty to a team, we dare you to find a bigger NorthPaws fan!
A bonehead, because our mascot is full of shenanigans.
