Around the WCL: Port Angeles Lefties
Every Friday leading up to the start of our inaugural season in the West Coast League we will be featuring one of our 15 league opponents in our Around the WCL series. The West Coast League was founded in 2005 and will grow to 16 teams in British Columbia, Alberta, Washington and Oregon for the 2022 season. This week: the Port Angeles Lefties. Port Angeles will be in Kamloops June 24th, 25th & 26th.
NorthPaws Add NCAA Talent to 2022 Roster
Canadian catcher Jayden Wakeham and infielder Austin St. Laurent have signed with the Kamloops NorthPaws for the 2022 season.
St. Laurent is in his first season at Appalachian State University (NCAA Division I) after transferring in the off-season from East Carolina University.
Wakeham, from Victoria, B.C., is the starting catcher at Northern Kentucky University (NCAA Division I).

July 3rd Game Cancelled
Unfortunately, the July 3rd game against Cowlitz has been cancelled due to the rain.
If you have tickets to today’s game, please email ticketing@northpawsbaseball.ca to request reallocation to a different game during the 2022 regular season.
The 50/50 will still be drawn Sunday evening as planned. The pot is over $3,000 and tickets are available online at www.ksc5050.ca.
Beatty’s Blast Helps Lift NorthPaws to Victory Over Black Bears in Game 2
Zack Beatty’s team-leading fifth home run of the season gave the Kamloops NorthPaws the lead they carried to a 5-2 victory over the Cowlitz Black Bears on Dearborn Ford Field at Norbrock Stadium Saturday night.
The rubber match goes Sunday afternoon – a delayed start time of 2:35pm on Dearborn Ford Field at Norbrock Stadium.
